What to Expect

Booking your session
In order to secure your preferred date and time, your session fee is due in advance. Sessions will all be done on location, either outside or in your home. The best time of day for outdoor portraits is right before sunset, so I prefer to schedule outdoor sessions in the evening.

Newborn sessions will take place in your home. The ideal time for newborn portraits is within the first two weeks of life. Feel free to contact me a few weeks before your due date to schedule a tentative appointment.

*While I am portfolio building, I am not charging a session fee for certain sessions. However, I do require a non-refundable deposit to hold your date. The entire deposit will be applied to your print purchase when you place your order.

During the session
Your session will last approximately one hour. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks for small children who might need a break during the session. Children are most cooperative if they are comfortable, so please keep your child's comfort in mind when deciding what he or she will wear.

The length of a newborn session will depend on your baby. We will take all the time we need to get perfect sleepy poses, taking breaks to feed, change, or rock baby as needed.

*Please do not bring cameras or other recording devices to your session.*

After your session
Within a few days of your session, you will be able to see a "sneak peek" of your images on my blog. Your gallery will be available for viewing approximately two weeks after your session. Please allow two weeks to receive your prints after they are ordered.
